Kultakuume on aika kova tähän vuoden aikaan. Hyvä video jäin kaipaamaan miltä lopputulos näyttää. Tuleehan siittä video?.

Tolkining. Guldfebern är rätt hög vid denna årstid. Bra video. Saknade att se färdig resultat av rännan. Det kommer väl video av det?

English. Good video. Goldfever is High in this time over the year. I miss To see video of the final of sluice. Hope you show some video of that

Javist, Tulee vielä videota missä näemme rännin toiminnassakin. Parin viikon päästä lähtee käyntiin Naruskan seikkailut

Sure, There will be videos where you can see the sluice in action. In few weeks of time Naruska expedition films start rolling out and we'll see it in action there.

I'm thinking, why do you not built like Hannus unic High banker?. Good and easy stone washing and no big Stones Flow down to the mats...

Not sure what kind of highbanker Hannu uses, but i suspect it has some form of grille in the top?

We usually try to stay away from the grilles and keep the sluice size large so we can ram volume into them. The more dirt we can push thru the bigger the gold catch. Sure we might lose a flake or two but i think it pays back in the time we did not spent washing empty rocks.

But with the finish type, ie similar to the one you built in the video you can't ram volume into it, it's not wide enough. Take mine for example.. sure it's a bit oversized but I have the biggest gold hog.. i can run 8 ton's an hour through it if I wanted. And this is the one thing I don't understand with the finish type of sluices.. why so thin? If they where just double the width you could run so much more material through it. And also the grille is what makes you able to wash stuff faster as it removes the bigger rocks.

Well i guess it is by tradition, still not sure about the shininess as it was in consideration with my 200mm steel sluices. For those i got suggestion from A. Peronius to make 200mm ones so went with that. Also for us the reason was mostly the fact that we had 150mm riffling on hand all ready so managed to cut costs by not making new riffling by just using some old ones i had left over.

edit: Actually now that i think.. it is most likely because costs. That single sheet of plywood cost propably only tens of euros.

Do you have super hog, Gold hog says that it can swallow 3-6 tons an hour not 8 ton?
Varför gräver du?? Det retar alltid någon!
