Hi,
I've built a small wash plant or big classifier & thought I would share the pictures to give the idea to anyone thinking of building the same ;)
I still have to weld on the water pipes and attach the adjustable legs, (I can lift it to 1.3m wth the legs) everything breaks down into pieces so that one man can carry it all.
once it's complete it will be painted hammerite black.
Cheers,
John.
What are the dimensions roughly?
The flat base is 70cm X 1.5m, the screen can be changed for different sizes & I bought square section pipe today for the wash bars, hopefully I will cut & weld them into place tomorrow....
John.
Getting there, tested it all today but never got the washbars welded, that will be tomorrow followed by paint :)
This was at maximum height with a 5 degree slope & it was out of the house before my wife came home ;)
John
Used box section steel for the washbars, I hope it works as well as it looks ;) I was going to paint it with hammerite but I am now thinking of powder coating it black (pulverlack)
John.
Is it going to have a shaker somewere? or whats the plan
It has a vibrator under the hopper ;-)

I guess she´s mad as hell because he stole her concrete vibrating rod. Now she can´t cast the concrete foundation for the new house!!!
Haha, if this fits then "Houston we have a problem"!! :D
It's alive!!!!
Vibrator is a bust though, too loud and to high a frequency, need to switch to plan "B"
Very nice. Do yo pan directly after classifying the dirt or do you sluice it?
Goldcube then pan....
It would be simple to fit a sluice though.
