That's a lovely video, so many memories must be coming back from seeing those pictures. It was really nice to see Kaarreoja at all different seasons! Kanamäki had told us that Kaarreoja could flood spectacularly, but I had a hard time imagining what it would look like. How strange that the water just flushes from the entire hillside like that.

I found the information about gold coming from Rossinoja exciting. There's a high bench deposit at Petronellan Kolmio that I am even more curious about exploring now...  ;D Looking at the shaded terrain map there are so many old channels at your cabin elevation and even higher. I think that's the explanation for the gold high above the creek. Maybe the richest ground is yet to be found?

Keep the great videos coming :)

Yeah the western hillside is full of surprises. The DEM model i made myself on the area also revealed... interesting tidbits.. not sure i am ready to share them really... or really the point would be lost as they are mostly related to our claim.

Have to see about the vid's for future. Only so much i i can do.

He he, you can share your insights, I will only dig up the gold that's on our side of the border  :)) :)) In all seriousness though, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a nice high deposit there just waiting to be found. The only thing stopping us is how many prospecting holes we can dig in a season  C:-)
